Ratnagiri Cyclist Club presents Roller Coaster Cyclothon 2024 (Powered By Hotel Vivek)

Cyclothon Details-

• Date - 20 October 2024 (Sunday)
• Reporting Time - 5.45 am.
• Start Time- 6:30 am.
• Route - ʙʜᴀᴛʏᴇ ʙᴇᴀᴄʜ (ʀᴀᴛɴᴀɢɪʀɪ) ᴛᴏ ɢᴀᴏɴᴋʜᴀᴅɪ ʙᴇᴀᴄʜ (ʀᴀᴛɴᴀɢɪʀɪ) ᴀɴᴅ ʀᴇᴛᴜʀɴ
• Distance : approx 48km , Elevation approx 450 meters
• Limited entries. Registration link will be closed once entries reach predefined count.
• No offline registration.
• Registration are non-transferable and non-refundable in any circumstances.
• Last Date of Registration - 07 October 2024.

Group Discount-

•    Group of 5 to 9 (5% discount) – Use Coupon Code (RCC05)

Categories –

Age wise categories for male

• 16- 40 (Elite category)
• 41-55 (Master category)
• 56 or above (Veteran category)

Age wise categories for Female

• 16- 40 (Elite category)
• 41-55 (Master category)
• 56 or above (Veteran category)

If the minimum number of riders (at least 25 riders) for a particular category is not met, the organizer reserves the right to combine categories and/or adjust the prize money accordingly.

Prize Details -

1. A) For Elite Categories (Male and Female)

• Rank 1 - 18,000 Cash + Trophy + Medal
• Rank 2 – 12,000 Cash + Trophy + Medal
• Rank 3 – 9,000 Cash + Trophy + Medal
• Rank 4 – 5,000 Cash + Medal
• Rank 5 – 2,000 Cash + Medal

Note :-

1)       If Elite category count reach over and above 50 participants then prize will increase to Rank 6,7,8,9,10 with 1500,1500,1000,1000,1000 Cash respectively

2) If the sufficient count of riders (25 Riders at least) for elite category is not fulfilled, Organizer reserve the right to either adjust / reduce the prize money and/or prize pool, and/or to combine the categories.

1. B) For Master Category (Male and Female)

• Rank 1 - 10,000 Cash + Trophy + Medal
• Rank 2 – 5,000 Cash + Trophy + Medal
• Rank 3 – 3,000 Cash + Trophy + Medal
• Rank 4 – 2,000 Cash + Medal
• Rank 5 – 1,500 Cash + Medal

Note :- 

1)       If Masters category count reach over and above 50 participants. We will increase prize to Rank 6,7 with 1500 Cash Each.

2)       If the sufficient count of riders (25 Riders at least) for masters category is not fulfilled, Organizer reserve the right to either adjust / reduce the prize money and/or prize pool and/or to combine the categories.

1. C) For Veteran Category (Male and Female)

• Rank 1 - 5,000 Cash + Trophy + Medal
• Rank 2 – 3,000 Cash + Trophy + Medal
• Rank 3 – 2,000 Cash + Trophy + Medal

Note :- 

If the sufficient count of riders (25 Riders at least) for veteran category is not fulfilled, Organizer reserve the right to either adjust / reduce the prize money or prize pool, or to combine the categories.

Facilities for Participants -

• Accommodation will be provided to a limited number of riders with separate for ladies and gents (Limited seats for early bird registered riders only)
• Accommodation for registered participants only.
• Dinner for all the participants on the day before the Cyclothon.
• Hydration during the Cyclothon.
• Healthy Breakfast after the Cyclothon.
• Ambulance with doctor during the Cyclothon.
• Digital timing bib to all the participants.
• E-Certificate.
• Cash prizes for winners.
• Finisher medal for all the finishers.

Rules -

• Wearing a helmet during the entire ride will be mandatory.
• Motor-operated or machine-driven bicycles cannot be used in the competition.
• All traffic rules will be mandatory.
• No aerobars are allowed on the cycle.
• Vehicle support or drafting behind any vehicle is prohibited.
• Riders violating the rules will be disqualified.
• The decision to change prizes, rules, facilities or the competition route will be reserved for the Ratnagiri Cyclist Club.
• If the minimum requirement is not met, the organizer reserves the right to adjust the prize money pool, prize amounts, or merge the category with other feasible category.
• The organizer's decision will be final, and no one can dispute it.
• Four-wheeler support vehicles are not allowed; if a rider is found with one, they will be disqualified.
• If a support vehicle or rider is found guilty, or if a volunteer detects draft or fraudulent behavior, a warning will be issued on the first instance. If necessary, the organizer reserves the right to either disqualify the participant or impose a time penalty.
